Chef Tom Ingalls is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, NY.  He is the founder and team leader of The New York State Buffalo Stampede, Barbeque Challenge Inc. 

Chef Tom & his BBQ team excelled as participants in (2) World Barbeque Championships (Switzerland & Nashville); He is a Certified Barbeque Competition Judge, in addition to being a founding "Chilihead" of The International Chili Society. 

Chef Tom is an exceptionally personable, multi-talented professional with extensive culinary experience.  He has managed numerous large culinary operations (Schools, Universities, International Corporations, Hospitals/Healthcare facilities, Restaurants, Catering Business)

Chef Tom has owned/operated his own restaurant and catering business; He consulted as the Executive Chef & Design Consultant in the renovation, remodeling & menu creation of several restaurants.


The Chef is an expert at recipe creation & menu design for all types of events and restaurants.

He specializes is Event Catering (all sizes & degrees of involvement), with a primary focus on Large BBQ Events, but is quite open to discussing your event's specific menu requirements.

-  Chosen to upgrade Carrier World Wide Conference Center, Syracuse, NY

-  Food Service Instructor@ NACUFS, Rich Products, and BOCES

-  Food Service Director/C.E.C. - Syracuse University

-  Certified Executive Chef - SUNY Buffalo 

-  Certified Executive Chef - Buffalo General Hospital 

-  Certified Executive Chef - Niagara/Buffalo Meals-on-Wheels

-  Corporate Culinary Consultant/C.E.C. - Carrier Corporation, Holiday Inns,    Aramark, etc.

-  A Founding "Chilihead" of The International Chili Society

-  Voted Buffalo Ambassador four years running, for being instrumental

    in bringing new business to the Western New York region.

- Led the United States BBQ Team in two World Barbeque   

    Championships: 1st – Wil-Toggenburg, Switzerland; 2nd - Nashville, TN
